These healthy oatmeal cookies are the perfect snack for the whole family! They are full of good stuff and so quick and easy to prepare. Because they are soft and chewy they are great for little ones too. I love how easy it is to add in nuts & dried fruit with the Thermomix.
The recipe makes about 16 small cookies that are the perfect size for little hands!
I first made these for my baby who doesn't care for purees. She loves them and so do I!
200g Unsweetened apple sauce
85g Dried cranberries or raisins
40g Almonds (or other nuts *optional)
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp Hemp Hearts
Preheat oven to 180 celsius
Mill Almonds & Cranberries (depending on the consistency you like) 6-15 sec on speed 6
WIthout washing the bowl add apple sauce, cinnamon and vanilla and blend 5 sec/speed 5, scrape down and repeat until all mixed together
Add remaining ingredients and blend 5 seconds/speed 5
Let sit for 10 minutes
Spoon out onto greased cookie tray and bake for 20-30 minutes
